Introduction

Welcome to Recall X (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how Duc Truong Huu (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with your use of the App.

Your privacy is our top priority. The App is designed to be a private, secure space for your study materials. Our business model is simple: we sell the App on the App Store. We do not, and will not, sell or share your data.

1. What Information We Do Not Collect

We are committed to collecting as little data as possible. We do not collect any of the following personally identifiable information:

Personal Details: Your name, email address, phone number, age, or gender.
User Accounts: The App works entirely without a user account.
Usage Analytics: We do not use any third-party tools to track your behavior, such as which features you use or how long you use the app.
Location Data: The App does not access, collect, or track your device’s geographical location.
Device or Advertising IDs: We do not collect unique identifiers from your device.

2. How Your Data is Stored and Used

All content and data you create in the App is stored locally on your device and is under your full control.

Local Data: Your flashcards, topics, notes, and study progress are stored in a private database on your device using Apple’s Core Data framework. We do not have access to this data.
iCloud Sync: You may choose to enable iCloud to sync your data across your personal Apple devices. This process is end-to-end encrypted and managed by Apple. We do not have access to any data you store in your iCloud account.
Sharing via AirDrop: The App allows you to share topics with others via Apple’s AirDrop feature. This is a user-initiated action that creates a direct, secure transfer between devices. Your data is not sent to our servers or any third party during this process.

3. Diagnostic Data

To help us identify and fix bugs, we may receive anonymized, aggregated crash reports and diagnostic information from Apple if you have chosen to share this with app developers in your iOS settings. This data does not contain any personal information or the content of your flashcards.

4. Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data. You can edit or delete individual flashcards and topics within the App at any time. To permanently delete all of the App’s data from your device, simply uninstall the App.

5. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.
